Fire sprinkler servicing
Regular maintenance of fire sprinklers is as essential as ensuring the quality of their initial design and installation is up to standard. Current regulations mean that your sprinkler systems must be properly maintained to comply with the law.
At Blue Shield Fire Protection we offer comprehensive maintenance and servicing, either on a one-off basis or as part of a long-term arrangement where your fire safety systems – whether fire sprinklers, dry risers, hose reels or alarm and detection equipment – is serviced by our qualified engineers on an annual basis or as required.
As LPC approved sprinkler contractors and members of the British Automatic Fire Sprinkler Association, the Fire Protection Association and British Safety Council, all servicing work is fully certified by our trained engineers. Additionally, all work is covered by £10 million public and employers liability insurance, and £2 million professional indemnity insurance.
Servicing of fire sprinklers includes testing of the safety critical components of your system, including pumps, control valves and detection systems. The function of all seals and sprinkler heads is tested to ensure safe and reliable operation. Our team members can also perform a thorough clean of your sprinkler system; flushing the pipework to keep it clear and fully functional.
Unlike many other installers and maintainers of fire protection systems, we hold a huge amount of stock at our stores in Tring, Hertfordshire – everything from sprinkler heads and guards to baffle plates and pressure gauges, so in the event of an emergency call we are likely to have the materials required to quickly get your sprinklers operational and safe.
